I studied my level 3 as an apprentice with Abbotswood, later completing my Level 5. I love being outside and messy play, I can often be found to have paint on my face or in my hair. Outside of Abbotswood I love to bake and have made many special treats for the staff to enjoy.

I’m recently completed my level 3 in Childcare having studied as an apprentice with Abbotswood. I love working alongside the children and exploring the outdoors and nature with them. Abbotswood is such a welcoming place to work, the staff are so lovely and helpful. There always a friendly face.

I've been working within the early years sector for over 25 years. I enjoy working with the pre-school little ones, as they are so interesting and engaging.

I joined the team at Abbotswood three years ago. I enjoy being outside, therefore the Abbotswood ethos works for me. Being able to take the children for walks and jump in muddy puddles, or climb trees is my idea of a great working day.

I have always wanted to have a career in childcare as it’s so rewarding to see the children develop new skills as well as having fun along the way and building strong bonds with the babies.

I joined Abbotswood straight from leaving school and love that it has so much to offer the children and staff it’s such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
