I joined the Abbotswood team in March 2020 and have been working in childcare for 6 years. I completed my level 6 in 2019. I love being outside exploring nature, messy play and being creative. My biggest passion is being a positive influence in children’s earliest years throughout their learning and development.

I have always wanted to have a career in childcare as it’s so rewarding to see the children develop new skills as well as having fun along the way and building strong bonds with the babies.

I joined Abbotswood straight from leaving school and love that it has so much to offer the children and staff it’s such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Whilst studying at Uni I regularly worked at Abbotswood for my placement along with supporting them in the holidays. I enjoyed being with the Tweenies and seeing them learning each day. After I graduated I came back to Abbotswood to work full-time.

I have been at Abbotswood since July 2017 and I have really enjoyed getting to know the children and parents. I successfully completed my Level 3 in Childcare as an Modern Apprentice at Abbotswood. I love Abbotswood because the nursery is warm and inviting. Having had my daughter in January 2022 we have both returned to Abbotswood and she enjoys getting messy as much as me!
